Ben Boyd Tower in Beowa National Park near Eden, captured at twilight in a close portrait view. Built in 1847 from Pyrmont sandstone by Benjamin Boyd, the tower rises above the coastal heath with its crenellated roofline silhouetted against a soft sky of pale blue, lilac and warm gold. Boyd's Tower was intended to be a lighthouse but never approved — it has stood empty for nearly 180 years.
